The simple answer is yes.

What you have to consider, is that the authors of SimulationCraft don't/can't/won't know the mechanics of every ability and effect of every talent for every spec of every class. So basically you need active community members who calculate and test this stuff for your class.

I know that it works for locks. And I can see in the recent updates list that people are actively working on at least mages, hunters and priests.

I'll get the latest version and give it a try when I can, hopefully today.

Ok the official notes say that hunters don't work yet. And only Mutilate rogues work.

And then at the bottom it says that 'action lists need verifying', which basically means that they aren't claiming that anything is ready for anyone.

I do trust the locks at EJ though and the 4.0.3 SimulationCraft thread is up and running with output.

Well I have it and I would have got round to trying it if the armoury wasn't down.

Anyone in particular you want the results for?

Well I will want it for Zandra, though I'm still only 84 at the moment (2 bars short).

I would just want a rough idea really. The EJ threads for fury and arms don't have good summary pages and that means trawling through pages and pages to find decent information. The only summary stuff basically says hit>exp>etc, which is fine but for decent gear choices I need a bit better idea, like is 1hit=2haste or 1.1 haste...

Troy, just wondering if you had tried simcraft yet. I have got the most recent version but it just keeps crashing every time I try and import a character into it.

Same for me a few times, then it worked out of the blue.

So, I've just done Troy and will do the dps who raided last night, for kicks. Although that might take some time, I'm leaving shortly and off tomorrow.

I would do Zandra as well but I doubt it would be very accurate while wielding a fishing rod.

Anyone else want one, just shout.

I haven't sat down and considered any buffs that we might be missing yet. I just ticked everything.

Ah yes I got it to work too, a new version came out a week or two back.

So don't worry about Zandra, have already done that myself ta.

Even though reforging should be totally obvious if you know your stat weights, personally I made an error, which I noticed when checking out wowreforge.

The best bit is that it can tell you the optimal way to reach caps with minimum waste.
