Stay awhile and listen (official D3 thread)

For Oblivion. And some other stuff, I suppose.

Well late night is fine. And it doesn't start until January 15th.

But ok, it's quite a commitment..

Each day? Not skipping weekends? Or any other odd day? It might be a way to quell the "Raiding itch" but that is a rather big commitment.

I'm not saying you have to do 2 hours every day at the same time as me. But I am saying you'll probably want to average at least that to keep up at the start.

There won't be much carrying/boosting in hardcore because it's too easy to die. So people need to keep up to some extent (if we want to play together).

I just fancy the new challenge, where the focus isn't to see how far you can go (immediately), it's more what you can do to prepare for your recovery after death. And the greater rift push comes much later.

I think I will give it a try anyway. 2 hours per day of Diablo is too much for me, but I never played Hardcore seriously so...
There will be bad days. Be calm. Loosen your grip, opening each palm slowly now. Let go.

So it's patch day..

Am I waiting for you to join me to level or have we decided that our paths probably won't cross much?

I don't mind waiting (assuming I'm only waiting until some time today :)).

It's patch day but it's not season 5 day.

So never mind..

Oh. That's an interesting timepoint. Hmmm, which class would I like to play.

I'm leaning towards Crusader myself. Never done anything remotely as high with a Crusader as all the other classes.

If you're bothered by power level, it seems that everything is good (ie better than last season) except for Monk.

If you're bothered by 2 man meta, then you want Barb, Crusader or Wizard.

If you're bothered by 3 or 4 man meta, then you can add WD and DH.

Monk went from being mandatory in every (competitive) group last season to useless across the board.
