For Oblivion. And some other stuff, I suppose.

Ok so this week I've gone for two songs from albums I bought last year, I probably have put both these bands in the old RoF playlist, so I will try and be more original next time :D

The hives-My time is coming- Me and luk went to watch these in december and they were brilliant, this one stood out live for me.

Linkin park- Castle of Glass-Really enjoyed this album, a return to form for me, as I feel their last album could of been better. The whole album is worth a listen.

I have a hat signed by The Hives.

We also have a picture of me and a few friends taken by the lead singer of the Hives (everyone else was taking pictures of them and we wanted to be differant so asked him to take a picture of us, he was very accomodating).

Nobody's posted anything for a while... oh. Must be my turn. :)

The Hold Steady - Barely Breathing. I've posted Hold Steady stuff on the other playlists, I expect. They're awesome. Must be due a new album some time soon, but this will do for now.

The Raconteurs - Consoler of the Lonely. I've been a Brendan Benson fan for a long time, but I never really got into The White Stripes or any of the other things Jack White was doing. Then a few years ago The Raconteurs came along changed my mind. I still think he sounds a lot like Zed form Police Academy, but I suppose that's no bad thing.

Time for some more AMAZING old synthetic pop.

I managed to find a couple that I haven't added before too.

The Human League - The Things That Dreams Are Made Of. They did more than just Don't You Want Me. Who knew?

Talk Talk - Such a Shame. I didn't like all of Talk Talk's stuff back in the day, but some of it was great.
You killed John Wick's Dog's Human, and that human was John Wick.

yeah yeah yeahs - heads will roll i have the first two yeah yeah yeahs albums, but not the one this is on. i've heard it on the radio a few times recently and i guess it got stuck in my head

the raveonettes - last dance i played this song a lot on rock band 3 a couple of years ago

I think it's my day, I've added a couple of songs anyway. Two more from last year, Swing Lo Magellan was one of my favourite albums from last year that hasn't already been chosen.

Swing Lo Magellan - Dirty Projectors

Your Parents' Cocaine - The Coup

I added a song for Paddy's day as well, just to get us all in the mood.
