Extremis Malis Extrema Remedia (Official The Division Thread)

For Oblivion. And some other stuff, I suppose.

I'M the main DPS! Turrets and seekers all the way.

You can carry on distracting them with the shield.

Awesome! So yesterday you were just playing the wrong character? Though the support box did help but I found you dead behind me two times... :ninja: When I have to turn around I get killed quit rapidly so on that last HTV I couldn't show the boss my back to help you out I'm afraid. We'd probably both be dead in that case.

Anyway, we are sticking Rev in the support box role? He can then pretend to do stuff while his box of goodness keeps us alive!

Did you not learn from your WoW days that you need to protect your healer?

I'll accept that the fountain (ooh I get cover on all sides) was a bad idea. But the bus depot, I got flanked on both sides while you had wandered off into the room.

And do you doubt the turrets and mines? The power that we are dealing with here is immeasurable.

I will show you.

In about 30 minutes..

So instead of ditching shield twat from the boss run because he takes me 10 minutes - just use turrets and mines. or should I say, turret and mine.

Wow... nice. You don't need me anymore then?
Would the turret be able to shoot shield twat from ground level? In other words does it try to shoot around the shield? I didn't expect it's AI to be that awesome.

I think it shoots through the shield. I think it's broken.

The reason to have it raised like that is because heavies like shield twat will just walk up to turrets and kick them if they are somewhere they can walk up to. Even something like a roof of a car is no good because they will climb onto the car and do it. It needs to be something small like a post or a fence.

25, BTW. And we were having fun with it last night.

I only died a few times, too.

So, when you were ~18 and I joined you, the enemies were 25. And when you were 21, they were 25. And when you were 23, they were 25.

I have this suspicion, and I'm not sure where the logic comes from, that now you are 25, the enemies will still be 25.

Which means I could now help get you to 30 faster without you being 1-shot.

But obviously it would remove all sense of challenge, and probably fun.

So, up to you.

Hmm, yeah, following you around picking up the loot off the corpses you leave behind doesn't sound like the best fun in the world. As much as I love loot.

But you're welcome to come and join and just not use any guns (or mines, or turrets). You can just slap people around a bit, and revive me when I die. Enjoy!

Enemy health and damage scale to the number of people in your party. So turning up and not doing anything would be a silly idea.
