Yes, yes. This has nothing to do with Warcraft. I know. Shut up.

Anyway, Oblivion - I'm lovin' it. Who else is playing?

I haven't really started with the main quest yet, apart from taking a look at the first gate and running away. I'm working my way up the ranks of the Thieves Guild though.

What do you guys think of the fast travel thing? I'm trying to only use it to hand in quests and things. Whenever I need to go somewhere for the first time I take my horse. Some of the scenery is spectacular.

Soooo many dungeons though. It's really hard to not get distracted. And they're all pretty huge as well.

Anyway, it's best game I've got for my 360 by miles. Although I was a bit of a Morrowind fanboy, so I could be slightly biased. I just wish you could take screenshots from the 360... then I could bore you all with AMAZING pictures of my adventures.

I got attacked by a little flying dwarf thing last night (after UBRS... I'm kinda sleepy now), but one of my mates from the Thieves Guild came running out of the bushes to help me in the fight. THEN! I was getting chased by a wolf, and it fell down a steep slope and into a massive rock at the bottom and died! Ha!

My Security skill isn't levelling up very quickly... does anybody know if that's because I'm using the Auto thingy to open the easy locks? Should I be doing it manually? I had to buy another 100 lockpicks last night as well from my fence. I really need to get him to drop his prices!

Oh yeah! I moved in to the house of a guy I killed. Lovely place. Much cheaper than buying that little shack on the Imperial City Waterfront. I nicked the key off his corpse, and it lets me sleep in his bed, so I'm calling it home! All his chests and wardrobes are filling up nicely with my loot! Free bank slots FTW!

Right... nobody else is going to post in here. I'm just bored. I'll stop talking for a while. Probably not long though.

Oh yeah! How do you enchant your weapons and armour? I've been saving all the soul stone things I've been finding, as you used those in Morrowind. Do I have to join the Mages guild to learn how to do that? I need to join the Fighters Guild as well I suppose. I'm NEVER going to get around to closing that first Oblivion gate!

Damn you.
You killed John Wick's Dog's Human, and that human was John Wick.

So anyway... the bit where you start looking for Martin is AMAZING! I don't want to spoil it for you, but...

*spoiler*
That bit where you're walking up the hill towards the first Oblivion gate, and the sun disappears, the sky turns red and it gets all thundery! That bit's AMAZING.
*spoiler ends*

I scared the crap out of myself about 2am this morning as well. I was in a dungeon just outside Imperial City and I ran out of torches. I used to have a light spell with my first character, but I respecced and started again, and this guy doesn't have it by default. I'll have to look into learning that spell again.

Anyway, sneaking around in the dark I bump into an unpleasant monk, who proceeds to summon a huge glowing goblin thing and sends it after me. I don't think I screamed out loud, which is probably just as well because it would have woken the neighbours. Anyway, I leg it, obviously. But I get a bit lost, and manage to come back around to the monk, while his minion is still chasing behind me. A few arrows to the back of the head and the monk's an ex-monk, and I loot a lovely flawless diamond from his chest!

And I got about 6 of my arrows back from him as well. Anyway, his minion died when he did, so I didn't have to kill that. But torches. Very important.

Oh yeah... a quick tip: If you get busted and sent to jail, you can get all of your stolen goods back from the chest behind the jailer guy when you get out. Just sneak back in and make sure he can't see you when you loot the chest.

Does wearing stolen armour make you more likely to get arrested? I can happily talk to guards with a bunch of stolen goods in my bags, but I've not tried it wearing any of my stolen armour yet. I half-inched an entire guards uniform from the barracks, but that was Heavy Armour, so not much good for my thieving soundrel character. He can wear it, sure, but he doesn't half clunk about.

Although! I made it to Journeyman in Stealth last night (this morning) as well, and it said something about my footwear no longer having a negative impact on my stealth skill or something. Hmm... I might need to investigate what the benefits of each level bring.

fuck a wank!

yeah i've got it. I'm also playing a thieves guild dude! I'm an AGENT though, so I can also charm people like a dick.

I believe you can level security through auto-lockpicking, but i dont know for sure.

again with stolen armour i'm not sure. I got busted last night when i was wandering around with this chainmail i'd nabbed, but i think that may have been cuz the guard saw me go into the house in the first place. So I can't be sure. Shit!

I bought the house on the waterfront cuz I got loaded from all my fencing and selling the stones you get from those Ruined dungeons. I''ve even fully decorated it! It has two whole cupboards!

When i'm even more loaded i'mn going to buy the house in Bruma maybe, cuz i love snow.

shit a wank! the main problem i'm having is knowing whether to concentrate on the main story arc or get involved with all the side stuff! I just got promoted to bandit in thieves guild and have my second doyen available in Bravil, ain't gone there yet tho!
"Diversity"? Why yes, I believe it's an old, old wooden ship from the civil war era

I really couldn't say Tak. I never use my PC for anything other than Warcraft. And it crashes a lot in that!

I guess they won't let you take it back if it doesn't work. You could try looking on the forums on the Elder Scrolls site. There might be something on there.

Kat! Yes!

I've got the second Doyen thingy guy open as well, but not been there yet. I'm still doing all the quests around Imperial City.

I reckon I should have a go in the arena tonight. Although I think I'd probably die a lot. Even if I am a RENEGADE. Custom classes FTW!

Mail counts as Heavy Armour doesn't it? Are you specialised in that? I went for Light Armour, thinking it'd make me a more effective sneaker and caster, but now I'm not so sure.

VAMPIRES!
