For Oblivion. And some other stuff, I suppose.

GTA for me is loads of fun for dicking around in multiplayer, and a brilliant single player game, but I've never been massively interested in the heists and things. They do look good, but it's a shame you can't just buy a £15 GTA Online game, that has all of the stuff you need to do these things.

Have you looked at any videos of Wildlands? It's 4 player co-op, and it's all just there. Icons and everything. Me and Buzz play it a lot, but you'd be able to catch up in a day at the rate you play. And it's pretty clever in the way it tracks what missions you've done, etc. So we're both in exactly the same place because we only play it when we're both online.

I just had a look and it's £55 to download again. Maybe in the next sale.

And I just watched a video, and it's Far Cry 4 isn't it? Not that that's a bad thing, it's just exactly the same. The co-op seems to work very well though.

It's pretty similar, yeah. It's tough though, and loads of fun. But yeah, wait for a sale. We got it for £20.

Haven't watched it yet.

But what I did watch, was the X Files err, 11?.1.

What the fuck?! Did they really do the
Spoiler!
it was all a dream
thing?

I read something about Gillian Anderson saying that she's definitely done with it. But in the small print of that article, it said she was also done with American Gods. As in, not even coming back for s2. That would suck. It also said that they are probably going to do Hannibal season 4. That would not suck. That would be fantastic.

In other news, I'm enjoying Manhunt: Unabomber or whatever it's called. I think I might even prefer it to Mindhunter. Mindhunter has a more interesting story to tell, and it has great performances of fascinating characters. Whilst Manhunt seems to be more of the traditional how to catch someone, whilst also retaining the element of trying to understand the villain that Mindhunter has. MH has the quality and probably more originality but MU has a better story (so far).

Anyway, I was almost put off by the (MU) trailer but if you like one you'll probably like the other.

Lol, I missed a couple of pages over the Holidays. Welcome to 2018 everyone!

GTA online: It's not that great, true. I get bored really fast but the size of the sandbox makes up for a lot of the bad parts of the game. Just hanging out with a group of people and dicking around is the best way to enjoy this game.
But yes, the amount of real money you could invest to grab all the shiny toys is scary. Makes me hate capitalism even more to be honest.

We saw TLJ last week and well... Not great. Enjoyable on the one hand but completely forgettable on the other. Nothing grand happens in those 3 hours. Nothing shocking.

Spoiler!
The smoking man has unleashed an alien virus on the world. Mulder is sick, along with most people. Scully can make a cure, maybe. Although it seems like it's a little late for that. And then a flying saucer shows up.
That pretty much covers what I remember about the season 10 finale anyway.

I watched some more MU. It's definitely good.

So. Much. TV. Where do you all find the time?! :)

We watched Spiderman Homecoming and Hidden Figures at the weekend. I'd seen them both before, but they were still good. I like Tom Holland as Spidey a lot. If they could have less Tony Stark in the next one, and less techno-suit nonsense, it could be really good.

My kids are addicted to Stardew Valley on PS4 now. It's so very simple, yet clearly very addictive. Reminds me a lot of Animal Crossing.

When's Monster Hunter out? That must be soon. Are we waiting for the sales?

January 29th rings a bell.

If others (or even just another, I suppose) get it. I think I will get it.

I'll do a deal with you. If we day 1 Monster Hunter, we won't day 1 Far Cry 5.
