Still not watching anything. MHW just too good right now. I did watch the Falcon Heavy launch though. That was AMAZING.

So GoT Dan and Dave are going to do some Star Wars films. And nothing to do with the Rian Johnson trilogy. And nothing to do with the saga films. Are they making more after episode 9? I feel like there are enough coming even if there isn't going to be an episode 10.

The launch was great, but those two rockets coming back down to land was some next level WTF coolness.

I started watching Colverfield but fell asleep shortly after they jumped. Yeah, I know that was about 5 minutes in.

Another MHW filled week.

The only thing I saw all week, was the first 4 episodes of Altered Carbon. I like it. Maybe just a tiny bit too much techno babble for my tastes. And the flashback sequences, perhaps there will be more of a point to them later? Because at the moment I don't feel like I need to know more about his backstory. But yeah, pretty impressive production quality. Interesting characters. A world that's explained just enough that we understand it, without too much exposition.

I recommend.

i'm on episode 4 of Altered Carbon, still watching.
Spoiler!
i liked the Blade Runner like setting, mixed languages, i'm not yet convinced about main char background history and timeline and sometimes i find it hard to understand or follow what they're saying (i don't know why...too many technical terms maybe). i'm eager to reach the end of it.
i finished it, i quite liked it.

So, I'm a tiny bit confused. Altered Carbon spoilers up to and including episode 8.
Spoiler!
Rei manipulated Laurens in to hiring Tak to solve his murder.

She did this, so that Laurens could set him free, and get him the pardon.

But when Tak went to see Laurens to pick up his pardon, it looked as though Tak had a realisation as to who actually killed Laurens. The scene where he was thinking about the telescope. And where the telescope was pointing - at the AI hang out place.

So, Poe and maybe some other AIs, have something to do with the murder?

I don't get it.
Maybe I just need to watch the rest. Or watch the flashbacks at the end of episode 8 again.

This was pretty much explained straight away in the next episode. So, never mind.

What would you study in Eastbourne? It's famous for being where old people retire to..

I went there once, my gf couldn't find anywhere to park, so she parked in an ambulance bay outside the pier. For about 3 hours. That's all I can remember about it.
