Oblivion - Topic Of The Year Edition

For Oblivion. And some other stuff, I suppose.

Only watched 3 so far. It's a little hard work. And yes I know it's meant to get better.

Completely agree. 4 is definitely better, but really, really, not what I was expecting.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that.

We watched Hotel Artemis.

It was fine I suppose. It just felt like a Tarantino movie without the good Tarantino dialogue.

Jodie Foster is old..

Haven't started DD yet. Too much MTGA.

I think the problem with Iron Fist and Luke Cage isn't that they are terrible, it's that they are too expensive. And because of licence fees to Marvel, rather than production costs.

I'm just guessing though..

Still not watching any TV. We did watch I, Tonya last night. Wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but still pretty entertaining.

MTGA is really good. Taking up a lot of my time.

I watched Venom last week. I really like it where Marvel is taking things with all these anti-heroes: Deadpool, Venom and yes Ant-men too. I really enjoy their sense of humor; dark and snappie. btw wait for the end-titles to end, there is a nice treat for all the symbiote fans......i think the next venom will be a lot darker.

Still not seen Venom. Don't think I'll make it at the cinema, now.

In fact, I've not seen much of anything lately. Too much gaming goodness going on right now. Dark Souls, MTGA and RDR2 are all just perfect. I can't see me needing any more games for a looooong time.

Speaking of which, I think I'm going to buy Grip for local multi-player Rollcage goodness...

I thought it was brilliant. I'm sure I said so here..

Just watched Nocturnal Animals. I was so impressed by the structure of it that it was to the film's detriment really. It took me out of the story a bit.

Brilliantly made, really well acted. Horrible opening sequence. Nothing AMAZING about the story. It's certainly not clever since I definitely understand it and I never understand anything complicated.

Not what I'd call particularly entertaining but I absolutely recommend it anyway. As an exercise in filmmaking I give it 10. As a piece of entertainment I give it 7.
"brilliant" is somewhat what I said..
